Hi there! I’m Nichole Beatty, but you can call me Nic, the fab gal behind the camera here at Katherine Costello Photography.

I’m sure you’re wondering—if my name is Nic, who is Katherine Costello? Well, as the only child I wanted to pay homage to my family and keep my family’s legacy alive through my business name. Katherine is my grandmother’s middle name, and Costello is my mom’s middle name.

My love for photography is somewhat ironic. Aside from being a portrait and wedding photographer for the past six years, I’m also a photographer at my 9-to-5 as an X-Ray Technologist. I’ll admit, it’s not as glamorous, but it’s provided me the ability to pay close attention to details. Capturing the right moments is essentially why you hired me, right?

I remember doing a shoot with an older couple after initially having to reschedule because her husband was ill. A few months later he passed, and his family was grateful that they were able to capture those last moments. Those images are a gift of the love they shared and a memory they will always hold dear.

I love shooting destination weddings and traveling to different countries for photo shoots. I also enjoy teaching photography and capturing editorial beauty and fashion photography in my spare time. When it’s time to unwind, you can catch me binge watching my favorite shows, having brunch with my besties around the city, or getting my groove on at a concert.

But there is nothing better than meeting new people, making new connections, and capturing great images that tell great stories. I look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to capture some of your memorable moments.
